Hi, I’m Brenda – the artist behind the lens.

I’m a mom of two, a proud Puerto Rican, daughter of the most high Jesus Christ, and a Boston native now rooted in Georgia sunshine. About a decade ago, I traded city streets for slower mornings and golden light, but Boston will always be my home. Photography first found me in middle school, but I returned to it after my son was born. That’s when I realized how fleeting and beautiful life’s moments are – and how important it is to capture them.

I love soulful music, sunsets, and romantic movies. I laugh easily, love to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, and I’m a big empath – so I feel all the moments deeply, which is why capturing genuine connection is so important to me. I adore dogs (my Yorkie is basically my baby), love to cook and bake (cake is life), and I’m happiest creating, painting, and soaking in life’s quiet, beautiful moments. My husband is my biggest cheerleader, and my kids constantly remind me to see life with wonder and joy.

Photography, for me, is rooted in connection. I blend cinematic, editorial-inspired imagery with honest, unscripted emotion so each photograph feels alive and deeply personal. I guide when needed, step back when the moment speaks for itself, and create images that feel intimate, intentional, and unmistakably yours.

Based in Atlanta and Boston, and available worldwide, I’m honored to document stories of love, faith, and beauty – and as an ordained officiant, I also offer intimate ceremony services for couples seeking a warm and meaningful experience. When people hear the word documentary, they often assume it means a photographer who is completely hands-off. Someone who never gives direction and simply captures whatever happens. On the other hand, editorial photography is often associated with highly posed, styled, and directed images.

My approach lives between those two styles.

I document your wedding day as it naturally unfolds, capturing real moments, emotion, and connection as they happen. At the same time, I don’t leave you guessing. I offer gentle guidance during important moments — like getting ready, portraits, and newlywed photos — so you feel comfortable, confident, and supported.

You can expect direction when it’s helpful, and space when it’s not. The result is imagery that feels natural and honest, while still looking polished, intentional, and thoughtfully composed.

It’s mostly just me over here. One part photographer, one part planner, marketer, editor, and professional keeper of all the details. I’m the one fluffing dresses, fixing flyaways, hyping you up, and quietly making sure everything stays on track. I wear a lot of hats so you don’t have to, and I genuinely love every part of the process –from the first email to the final gallery.
